第一性原理计算、电子结构分析、负泊淞效应的力学行为、光电及输运特性、理论计算催化、机器学习、量子物理与化学。尤其在单原子、双原子、或者多原子及团簇催化领域进行了全方位的理论计算研究,重点研究方向为:
1)动态催化理论。结合机器学习进行动力学探究催化剂动态变化行为;
2)催化活性的机理分析,理解单催化中心的电子结构及其化学成键的演变;
3)新型二维材料的搜索及其基本物性探究。
